I was exposed to domestic violence as a young child, and its impact on me was profound. I ultimately entered foster care and have continued reflecting on those experiences ever since. This story aims to shed light on the generational effects of domestic violence and the lasting impact it can have on children and families. My passion for this film comes from a desire to tell stories about the hardships women and children face in these situations, while contributing to the ongoing conversation around awareness, prevention, and breaking the cycle of violence.

Filmmaker and communications professional with a BFA in Film Production (2023). After graduating, I worked in Nashville as a production coordinator and assistant before moving into my current role as a Communications Coordinator for an outdoor nonprofit. My work centers on storytelling, creative strategy, and community engagement.
As a filmmaker, I’m especially interested in stories that explore women’s and children’s experiences, family dynamics, and the lasting impact of trauma. My long-term goal is to create films that bring difficult, often overlooked experiences into conversation and contribute to greater understanding, prevention, and change.
