To be a young adult in the modern era is exponentially more difficult than it used to be. We were promised the 2.5 kids and a mortgage by 25 like our parents, and their parents, but the truth of our current time is that we have been priced out of tradition. Rootbound is the story of one couple's struggle to accept where they are and process the grief associated with our lost promise.
