About this submission

Price, an aspiring actor, finally has a chance at a breakout role in a feature film.

He lands a role as Dennis, an unhinged axe murderer, in a thriller helmed by
once accomplished indie film director, Steinbeck.

On set, Steinbeck praises Price's white co-star's less-than-stellar performance and ignores Price. When the film day ends, Steinbeck threatens to replace Price if he doesn’t method act to deliver the right performance. Emboldened by this threat, Price tortures himself to become like Dennis. But when Price manifests Dennis, the character takes on a mind of its own.
