In 2020, I was 20, living far away from home. My space was mostly filled with random hobbies, online classes, and a lot of silence. I used that silence to contemplate my identity, my relationship with my family and friends, and the horror of my solitude. Isolated from people and torn by so many unanswered questions, I was impelled to write this story. Needless to say, it is a personal story. With Pixelated, I want to ask: How does one find themselves in such unconventional circumstances?
