Parts explores the feeling of longing so much you ignore danger. I’ve felt this feeling many times in my life, the desire for love outweighing logic, and hadn’t found enough queer portrayals of it. Parts was born. I want more space for our stories to stop centering on coming out narratives, trauma porn, sassy stereotypes. Using a blend of camp, comedy, horror and DIY stop-motion animation, I present a story that intends to show queer cinema as open to experimentation and fun.
