I chose to tell this story as cinema has affected my life in many ways more than one, and during my time at university I have fallen in love with a local cinema which had reached an important milestone in its life which was its 90th birthday. The now arts centre has played an important role in Christchurch's high street with memories of the cinema being passed on down through generations and now onto me. The story really allowed me to delve into how a place can affect the community and how the same four walls can invoke memories.
