As a writer/director, I want to tell complex, emotional stories through interesting characters. In my first short film, 'Office Hours' I knew I had to keep all these aspects in mind, yet minimized enough to be practical. 'Office Hours' takes place in a single classroom, between a professor and a student. Throughout the course of their meeting, we reveal a series of stories to the audience that allows them to escape the island-like atmosphere of the tense classroom and better understand what has brought our two characters to their breaking point.
