Ode to Fortuna is a $0 budget experimental film about a young woman who attempts to manipulate her fate with a fortune teller origami. Beneath the layers, however, it's really an emotive personal piece about being trapped in a sour stage in life and the struggle to regain control and stability - something that I, through creating film, was able to accomplish. The fortune teller has always been a recurring symbol in my life, something that I'd always relied on when I found myself lost amidst my feelings. An Ode to Fortuna says no more.
