Shot on a cellphone, this is a project to prove to myself that I don't need money to make films. OTAWAU is a story of one writers decision not to bother with memory. It's about the ways we try to make life beautiful. This short is my way of honoring the joy I've found in the world. I chose to tell this story because not doing so feels like I would be doing a disservice to the magic of life itself.
