My whole life I've been surrounded by kids with Autism and it has shaped who I am and how I look at others. I've read many statistics on the subject and have been touched by them personally but I wanted to see my life and the lives of so many other families like mine, reflected in art and not just in numbers. I chose to tell this story so the people in my life can look at the characters on screen and say "that's me!"
