With my story, I wanted to highlight the hypocrisy of those who seem to be guiding the conversations around climate change.

From grassroots campaigns to multi-national corporations, there are many that claim to support fighting against climate change with their words -- yet, do the opposite with their actions. For instance, the oil company BP was the first to coin the phrase "carbon footprint" in the name making us aware of our individual contributions to greenhouse gases. Yet, while running this campaign the oil industry continues to create 5.1 billion tons or 15% of the yearly global greenhouse gas emissions.
