This story is that of a friend. She entrusted me with a deeply personal story that touched on strong social issues facing the LGBTQ community. For that, I am honored. Many of my films touch on social issues and controversial material in hopes that I can shed new light and reveal the realities that face people every day. I hope to do that again with Madre De Dios.
