About this Video
Alzheimer's disease runs through my family, with my recently deceased Grandfather suffering from it most recently. As such, memory loss and the strain it places on familial relationships are themes that are deeply personal to my creative work. My mom had a troubled relationship with her father and therefore reconciliation–when he didn't remember who she was–was a difficult and heart-wrenching situation to wrestle with. "Look at You Now" explores this emotional tension.
