As an Indian American, I have deep experience with connection to family and legacy. As both my parents immigrated to the Untied States for education, it has a been a staple of my life to set high expectations and have big dreams. The idea of reincarnation, and each of us containing multitudes, is woven into the fabric of each of our lives, in seen and unseen ways. I wanted to explore the theme of connection to culture, having more inside of us to explore, and how choosing who to be is often harder than being told.
