Living away from home as a student abroad, it feels extremely lonely and depressing at times. I was living with room-mates, who I wasn't speaking to often. One day, when my room-mate was smoking a cigarette in the hall, I was in the room thinking if only I had a door that could stop the smell from coming in. But I realized that no barrier of hate could solve my problem, rather it was through love and coming together amidst differences. I believe that to be a powerful message, which I thought could make as a short film.
