Juru was the first short film I directed. All crew members were class of 2023 or younger from Heritage High School students. The film won multiple awards from Film Festivals found on FilmFreeway. Juru caught the attention of the local press at the Opificer Media Student Film Festival where it won Best High School Short-Film. The local Brentwood Press then interviewed me and wrote an article on the Film Festival, myself, and the short-film. This led to other articles being written including one in Peru, and landed me on the set of a Feature-film in Peru.
