This film was inspired by the concept of a country named “New Afrika" proposed by some Black Panthers back in the ’60s. The country would segregate the southern states leaving blacks to have freedom from their oppressors. I wanted to explore the idea that all power comes with great responsibility however, humanity tends to misuse this power.
