About this Video
In my work, I explore the spiritual ties between nature and self. This film was created as a visual meditation on the interconnectedness of living things. The 'invisible force' that holds living creatures together is depicted from the opening shot of a spinning creature composed of tangled roots. My objective was to immerse the audience in naturalistic vignettes to encourage viewers to pause their thinking and take a breath. Scenes slowly unfold with the prompting of poignant chimes that usher changes in location. If this piece allows the viewer a moment of reflection, I consider my purpose to be fulfilled.
