Bringing awareness to mental health, this film was an opportunity to specifically shed light on what people dealing with anxiety attacks live regularly. This movie specifically reflects what women suffering from prenatal depression might feel. It also deals with domestic violence, which has increased by 8.1% following the imposition of stay-at-home orders during the pandemic but is still taboo to talk about. I am aware that many teenagers (18-24), including friends, have lived situations like this, and so this story communicates their fears, reports their mental health deterioration, and denounces the abuse they have been enduring in isolation.
