"Instant Noodle," was written early in the pandemic. It was conceived when Michelle was feeling home sick. One day Michelle decided that she wanted to eat her childhood favorite Instant Noodle brand, Indomie, only to discover that she had none left, It was a disappointing chapter of the Pandemic, but it was the inspiration behind this story.
The story was fleshed out upon realizing that Michelle and her friends all had
strong attachment to childhood comfort foods like Instant Noodles. These foods, regardless of cultural background, have strong ties to family traditions. Upon this realization "Instant Noodle" was born.
