"Inside A Blue House" is about longing, memory, and solitude. I made this short during my first year at University of Southern California, and wanted to capture the feelings I was having after moving to a new city and ending a significant relationship. I also felt it important to expand representations of AAPI love. As my first ever short, it was an important learning experience. The quiet, contemplative tone of the film is the kind of artistic voice I want to bring to all films I hope to make in the future, regardless of genre.
