To start with the main plot, about 2 years ago during that summer, eczema had broken out throughout my body and combined with the dry heat of Nevada summers, I was a lot of discomfort and pain. But there was something about that experience that compelled to me. I felt that a plot of boy getting an endless itch could work for a short film. All of my films come from something personal. I wanted to show the part of America that I grew up in. I wanted to show how trapped it makes me feel.
