I chose this film and this story because my partner is an inspiration to me. After the passing of her mother, and a year off of school due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, I wanted to document her transition back into life. This vulnerable character study reminds me that through isolation there can still be humor, and through heart break can still be memories.
