About this submission

Raf refuses to spread his estranged father's ashes because of unresolved issues between them. He finds himself at the lake where they used to skip stones. Raf isn't able to skip a stone after hours of trying and loses composure. A figure that appears to be his father manifests itself close to him and tries to teach Raf how to skip a rock. They talk and reconcile, allowing Raf to find closure and peace. Raf skips a rock, and he smiles, knowing their bond will always be there.
