An ordinary girl faces a hairy situation. She learns to embrace her body hair through a connection she finds in a hallway portrait. The film is influenced by how some women (especially women of color) face difficulties embracing their body hair on a day-to-day basis, continuously shaving because it is seen as abnormal. With this concept, the title "Hirsute" was decided upon because it not only means being hairy but seeing that women being hairy should be seen as normal since it's "her suit". Being hairy or not, women should decide what makes them feel comfortable with their own bodies.
