About this submission

I chose to tell this story as it was important for me to create a film that would be able to not only explore grief through the character who's experiencing it directly, but also through the perspective of a 'witness' so to speak. How grief is felt through the witness's own emotional kaleidoscope and the way in which this holds its own, complex weight. I think many of us have an instinctual need to grieve collectively and there is a grace in that act which offers catharsis and relief.
