I created a film about a girl who learns that her father is alive and she goes on a journey to find him again, only to be disappointed by the person she finds. As someone who lost their father at a young age, I felt as though this was a story I could tell. Much like Margot, I couldn’t accept my reality and I tried to create false ones about where my father actually was. I felt personally connected to Margot and I knew I could tell this story creatively and cohesively.
