Hangry is the story of Ziba, the daughter of immigrants from Transylvania as she navigates high school as a vampire stuck between the world of Vampire tradition and culture and the American human high school experience. This short is an allegory for being a Muslim in the USA post 9/11 and is a heightened expression of my own high school experience.
