Rock climbing has been one of my lifelong passions, serving multiple purposes as my sport, community, and therapy. The quantitative nature of bouldering has always seemed to me as an excellent setup for power dynamics, especially between experienced and beginner climbers. I've had many times introducing friends to the sport with difficulties sharing my passions without being too overwhelming. For my final project in Sight and Sound Filmmaking at NYU, I wanted to showcase the other sides of the world of rock climbing and knew that this was the story I wanted to tell.
