“GO DANI GO”' is a love letter to Southern California, immigrant families, and blue-collar workers throughout the U.S. The core message of this film is that our dreams are not out of reach— everything is possible with passion, perseverance, and our community/families. As the director, my desire was to uplift an underrepresented community on screen and not victimize them, these characters, and the communities they represent. They are the heroes of their generations. I hope this film inspires audiences to act courageously towards their dreams like Dani, running the good race through the finish line and until the very end.
