Five or Less is a short film grounded in vignettes of visual poetry and a series of recorded conversations. The film does not possess a distinct narrative, but rather functions as film collage, aimed at examining seemingly disparate and yet interconnected parent, sibling, and neighbor relationships. The dialogue used in this film is sourced from several distinct conversations. A goal of my filmmaking process was to identify universal themes within the dialogue and create visuals that would build cohesion and highlight my overarching curiosities.
