I felt an urge to document how beaten down I felt the night of the Atlanta spa shootings. I didn’t think that I would make a project out of the footage at the time. I just knew that I needed to capture the pain that I was processing. In our culture, we are told to keep silent and tuck these feelings away. This film visualizes living with those emotions behind closed doors.
