Eve seeks to show and tell the complex, lived experiences of Black women within relationships, whilst challenging the stereotypes often ascribed to them.

Too often within the media, characters of colour (as with people of colour in general) are quick to be labelled as aggressive, loud and stubborn. However, this film forces us to stop and recognise the fragility that exists in Eve, and every single one of us. It’s to position love and understanding as a viable cure for a broken world.
