I wanted to tell a story inspired by the experience I, and so many others, went through both during the pandemic and upon entering my mid-20s, a compounding time of change. I wanted to explore these themes with a sense of morbid humor. Enchanted Cove finds a protagonist both on an internal journey, trying to pull herself out of a depression, and an external one, faced with a choice of preserving the embarrassing final moments of a man's life. The absurdity of this dilemma is a reflection of the way life forces us to grow when we least expect it.
