I am always drawn to stories in a confined setting that allow me to explore the characters' experience in a subjective, sensory way. Telling the story of a woman tasked with cleaning a hoarder's house gave me the exciting potential to delve into the horror genre, whilst also exploring the emotionally-turbulent state of a character who is at a crisis point in her life. I really loved playing with genre in this piece, and will definitely write more horror and psychological thriller screenplays in the future!
