I chose to tell this story because I wanted to express my inner struggle. To me, the box in the film represents everything that I hate and don't understand about myself. It's essentially my shadow. The ending is ambiguous because I don't have an answer on how to deal with my darkness and I wanted to tell the truth, rather than create a fantasy.
