This film coincided with two significant life events for me:

1. I was going into my final year of film school, and recognized that I had access to an incredible wealth of resources and skilled creatives and wanted to take full advantage of them.

2. I had just lost two grandparents, and saw for the first time my grandfather question his faith. That experience left a huge impression on me. So I had this desire to make something that examined that. Something that touched on loss, grief, our connection to the cosmos, to each other, and the cycle of life.
