A young Nepalese sex worker in the red light district of Kolkata heads out with her intimate client to watch the sun set over the river. This short trip offers a fleeting moment of tranquility from the monotony of her life.

Creator
Ujjal Paul is an alumnus from the National Institute of Film and Fine Arts, Kolkata, specializing in Direction and Screenplay Writing. He has worked as a researcher, associate/2nd unit director, and production head in several documentary projects of NFDC INDIA. His debut short film 'DUSK' has been selected in the International Competition section of the 35th Fribourg International Film Festival, Switzerland, 2021. The film has also won the awards for the Best Indian Short Film, 26th Kolkata International Film Festival, India, 2021, and the 2nd Best Short Film, 3rd Meihodo International Youth Visual Media Festival, Japan, 2020.
