City of Cousins is a story about a field hand who leaves the barbarous oppression of Mississippi and moves north to live with his family in Omaha, Nebraska where his love affair with a white woman leads to tragedy. This screenplay is based on the true story of the lynching of Will Brown in Omaha, Nebraska on September 28, 1919. This is the first draft of the first screenplay I've ever written and I would love some critical feedback.
