An international student embarks on her fourth egg donation procedure. She finds herself in a relentless cycle of anxiety, fearing potential deportation due to her precarious financial situation and her participation in the illegal action of getting money through egg donation. Unable to return home due to family support and past traumas, she discovers passion in women's rights advocacy, aspiring for greater impact in the US. Then, she goes to the egg retrieval surgery. She receives the much-needed financial compensation, enabling her to graduate. Yet, she ponders and reminisces about the true meaning of bravery in pursuit of higher education.
