About this Video
When directing Butterfly Bandaid, I chose to tell a story that would be recognizable for its portrayal of brotherhood and the bond that comes from struggling together through poverty. Reflecting on my experiences an ethnic minority and the hardships associated with growing up poor, this story pays homage to how my older brother took care of me and taught me to be the man I am today.
