I chose to tell this story because I'm very interested in two characters with highly moral goals that are in opposition to one another especially during the hight of the pandemic, in which this story takes place. Discovering how the smallest act of kindness can bring a spark of joy, yet not solve everyone's problems, is a truism that I wish to express through my work.
