About this submission

When I was a child, me and my little Black brother used to sing fly me to the moon. For him, it was more than just a song as it was the declaration of livin life without borders. I wanted the world to see his intelligence, hope, and creativity. However, as an older sister, I grappled with the fears that I cannot truly protect my little black brother from society's racial prejudices. My greatest hope is that people become aware that Black children have dreams too.
