I wanted to capture this feeling on the precipice of becoming---a very specific anxiety and excitement you share as the liminality of college bleeds into the (hopeful) solidity of fully-fledged adulthood. Yet, this first flight is by no means an isolated moment; it is one that continues to shape who we are, such that we are a compilations of these moments of change, instances of decision. We live at a crossroads and the end of our penultimate semester felt like a focal point for growth. I think we all live with a great deal of courage as first drafts.
