This film follows a girl obsessing with the image of the "ideal woman", stalking then and hanging photos up like a shrine. Her obsessions drives her to starving herself, leading her to committing acts she could have never foretold. This is the first film I ever made on film, and it was shot on a bolex. I wanted to make a film about how women can be just as harmful in their indulgence of the beauty standard as men. It was all edited in camera, and shooting on film meant to me that every shot needed purpose.
