Apego and necessity are synonyms. I wrote Apego while studying abroad in Prague, as I lost contact with my brother and broke up with my girlfriend. Due to the deep sense of love towards them, I felt a profound attachment, and any form of their physical or virtual presence became a necessity in my life.
