1.5 Degrees of Peace was born from the overwhelming anxiety I feel as a Gen-Z facing multiple existential threats. Watching the climate crisis intensify, I noticed how the coverage and conversations around this issue was missing a crucial link between the climate crisis, conflicts, and militarization. We need, now to hear stories from young people in frontline communities, living at the nexus of these issues, who are breaking down the silos between peace and climate justice, and searching for solutions. These stories can empower us to stand together, unifying the peace and climate justice movements.
