Elyza is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin - Madison, where she earned a BA in Economics, English Linguistics, and a certificate in Digital Cinema Production. She is an interdisciplinary filmmaker and editor who blends her academic studies to inform her work. She primarily works in screen dances, documentaries, and experimental films, and plans to earn her MFA as either director of photography or directing. Elyza is passionate about creating fem-centric psychological and surreal narrative films that explore grief, nostalgia, and paradoxes. Above it all, she wants her work to be described as striking, vibrant, and unusual.
