Tony Sebastian Ukpo - Sundance Collab

Tony Sebastian Ukpo is a Nigerian-British writer-director and photographer. His feature films, including Japanese murder mystery thriller RANDOM 11 starring Haruka Abe (SNAKE EYES, GIRI HAJI) and British- Nigerian romantic comedy MUM, DAD, MEET SAM starring Joseph Benjamin (ATLANTA, GREENLEAF) have been released theatrically and streamed on Netflix, Amazon, Tubi and IMDBtv.

He is a creative consultant for clients such as Amazon, and has been nominated for and won multiple awards, including at the British Independent Film Festival and the British Urban Film Festival. As a photographer, his work was recently featured at the National Portrait Gallery in London as part of the Taylor Wessing photographic portrait prize. In 2023, he concluded a residency with the Realness Institute and the Storyboard collective of their inaugural AuthenticA African tv series program with his tv series MASQUERADE which is currently being represented by CAA. He is currently in a writers room for a crime thriller with a major streamer, as well as working as a writer and consultant for several video game projects alongside his other work.
