Tom Huang is an award-winning Writer/Director. His latest feature, DEALING WITH DAD, was recently nominated for the prestigious Humanitas Award, and has played 37 film festivals across the US, winning 14 awards, including multiple Best Feature Film and Audience Awards. CHARACTER MEDIA described the film as “both funny and achingly poignant.” The film has just finished a 20-city theatrical run and is available on Amazon, iTunes, Google Play and other platforms.

His previous feature, FIND ME, also won multiple festival awards, as well as being a critical and streaming hit on Amazon Prime, achieving 100% on Rotten Tomatoes with critics. Outside Magazine named it “the Indie Adventure Film we all need.”

Tom is a Warner Brothers Sitcom Workshop graduate and has also been a staff writer for network TV sitcoms, including the critically lauded ABC show SONS AND DAUGHTERS and STILL STANDING on CBS. Tom is a Film Independent Screenwriting Lab and Fast Track Fellow, and is developing THE LOYAL BETRAYAL, a film noir feature set in the Manzanar Japanese Internment Camp during World War II, and a sequel for FIND ME.
